TWICE's Chaeyoung and Zion.T Shut Down Split Rumors: "Completely Untrue"
TWICE member Chaeyoung, 27, and singer-producer Zion.T, 37, are still dating. Both artists' agencies pushed back Friday against a report that the couple had broken up.
In a joint statement issued on Aug. 14, the two sides called the breakup claim "clearly untrue." They added that after checking with the artists directly, "the two are still seeing each other with good feelings and continuing a nice relationship."
Earlier that day, a local outlet reported that Chaeyoung and Zion.T had ended their relationship, saying busy schedules had pulled the two apart. Right after the report, Chaeyoung's agency Lil Fantasy told K-POPIT that it was "difficult to confirm since it concerns the artist's private life." Both agencies then went back to the artists and issued the joint denial.
The agencies also signaled legal action against the spread of false information. "Both companies will continue to monitor for baseless speculative articles, the spread of false information, and malicious posts that damage the artists' reputations," they said. "We will respond strongly through legal means to sensational reporting and distribution of unverified claims."
Chaeyoung and Zion.T's relationship first became public in April 2024, when both sides confirmed the two were "seeing each other with mutual feelings." The couple, 10 years apart in age, were introduced through a mutual acquaintance before the friendship grew into a romantic relationship.
