BOYNEXTDOOR Drops Japanese Single 'Boom Boom Boom'

BOYNEXTDOOR is kicking off a new round of activities in Japan with its second Japanese digital single, "Boom Boom Boom."

Released Aug. 18, the track channels youthful energy into a message about writing your own story without regrets. Its shifting rhythms, fast-moving melody and bright piano are paired with the six members' distinct vocals.

The music video takes place in a world caught in a strange loop, with the members trying to break free and act on their own terms. Along the way, they appear as characters including a restaurant owner, tea master, shogi player and architectural designer.

BOYNEXTDOOR gave "Boom Boom Boom" its first live performance a day before release on TBS' "CDTV Live! Live!," pairing the upbeat track with energetic choreography and live vocals.

The group will next bring its "KNOCK ON Vol.2" world tour to Japan, beginning with three shows at K-Arena Yokohama from Aug. 21 to 23. The tour will then continue through Saga, Osaka, Miyagi, Nagano and Chiba, with the Osaka and Chiba dates already sold out.
