TUNEXX Switches Into 'BLUE MODE' for First-Ever Comeback

TUNEXX is making its first comeback with the release of its second EP, "BLUE MODE," six months after debuting.

The seven-member group will release the four-track project on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. KST. Members Donggyu, Inhoo, Tyra, Jeon and Sihwan participated in writing lyrics across the album, which centers on seven young people finding connection and confidence in one another.

Title track "BLUE MODE" is a hip-hop song combining a heavy yet smooth instrumental with the group's vocals and rap. Its lyrics compare the moment of confronting one's emotions to a night so dark that it appears blue.

The accompanying music video follows the members as their individual stories gradually come together, focusing on the uncertainty and freedom of youth rather than an idealized version of it. The video was shot entirely on film.

The EP also includes UK garage-influenced "SYNC UP," "ANSWER," which expands on a musical theme from TUNEXX's debut track, and electronic pop song "OVER X."

TUNEXX debuted in March with its first EP, "SET BY US ONLY."
