WAYF BOYS is putting its own creative process at the center of new single "SWAG," continuing a hands-on approach that has defined the group since its debut.

The five-member group, consisting of Anderson, Andrew, Ryan, Junmyeong and Samuel, recently released "SWAG" as the follow-up to debut track "WAYF BOYS DO." Rather than limiting their involvement to the music itself, the members have been extending their individual tastes and personalities into how their work is presented.

That approach is particularly visible in the music video for "SWAG," which was largely produced in-house, with WAYF involved in its planning, styling and filming. The video favors a monochrome palette, grainy textures and deliberately loose framing over a highly polished visual style, keeping the focus on the five members and their individual personalities.

Junmyeong described WAYF BOYS as a team focused on showing themselves "as we are," pointing to authenticity rather than a carefully constructed image as a central part of the group's identity.

The same idea carries into the group's performance. Instead of presenting the choreography as a completely uniform routine, the members incorporate their own gestures, expressions and movement styles. Junmyeong, in particular, brings a relaxed quality to the choreography that fits the confidence and freewheeling energy of "SWAG."

The release comes as WAYF BOYS begins expanding its activities beyond Korea. The group joined U.S. label Interscope Records, home to artists including Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish, around the time of its debut.

With "SWAG," WAYF BOYS is beginning to establish what separates the group from other newcomers: not simply performing a concept created for them, but taking an active role in shaping how their music, visuals and performances come together.
