LE SSERAFIM Steps Into a Virtual World Ahead of "Made My Night" Overwatch Collab

LE SSERAFIM has unveiled the final visual concept for their upcoming second single album "Made My Night," ahead of its collaboration with game Overwatch.

The group released photos and a video for the "DIGITAL SYNC (Compact ver.)" concept through their official social media accounts on September 3rd KST.

The video places Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae in separate enclosed spaces, where each member appears to be monitored through CCTV cameras. However, rather than remaining confined to the space, all members attempt to make an escape.

The accompanying photos lean further into the digital theme of the video as pixel and glitch effects are layered over the members’ images to blur the distinction between the physical and virtual worlds, thus giving the photos the appearance of scenes or characters from a video game.

Futuristic styling which includes metallic accessories, further develops the concept while several of the images use extreme close-ups of the members.

"DIGITAL SYNC" is the third and final visual concept released for "Made My Night." LE SSERAFIM began the rollout on August 31 with the press conference-inspired "OUR DELUSION," followed by additional visuals leading up to "DIGITAL SYNC." Further unrevealed promotional content is scheduled for September 4 and 5.

The upcoming single album contains two tracks, "Made My Night" and "AEIOU." LE SSERAFIM previously shared a brief preview of the title track on September 1, including the lyrics, "you just made my night / I feel better now."

The music video for "Made My Night," created in collaboration with Overwatch, will be released on September 11 at midnight KST. The single album and performance video will follow at 1 p.m. KST the same day.
