BLACKPINK's JISOO Taps Joseph Kahn for Dark, Cinematic 'CLICK' MV

JISOO is beginning the rollout for her first solo full-length album with the release of new single "CLICK" on Sept. 4.

"CLICK," the first pre-release track from the upcoming album, is a dance-pop song built around restrained synths, a prominent bass line and JISOO's lower-register vocals. The song centers on two people who know they should keep their distance but find themselves naturally drawn to each other.

The single will arrive alongside a music video directed by Korean American filmmaker Joseph Kahn, whose credits include work with Taylor Swift, Eminem and Lady Gaga. Earlier teasers placed JISOO in an eerie amusement park setting, combining futuristic imagery with a darker, horror-inspired atmosphere.

"CLICK" also marks the beginning of a longer release campaign for JISOO's first studio album. She plans to introduce additional singles with different sounds and concepts ahead of the full project's release.

"CLICK" will be available on streaming platforms Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. KST, with its music video arriving at the same time.
