THE BOYZ's Eric is looking back on the people and experiences that shaped him as he begins a new chapter with GRID Entertainment.

Eric released a new visual film through his official social media channels on September 15, marking his first content since signing an exclusive contract with the agency.

Inspired by the number 22, which holds significance for Eric, the content sees him answer 22 questions about his years since debut, his identity both on and off stage and what he hopes to pursue moving forward.

The film opens with Eric discovering a pink letter containing "22 Questions for Eric." Its first chapter, "ERIC, The Babe," focuses on his time as a member of THE BOYZ and some of the memories that have remained with him.

"When I became a member of THE BOYZ, I wanted to become someone who gives love," Eric said, naming the moments immediately before the group's debut stage and THE B as particularly vivid memories.

He also spoke candidly about the role his members, fans and family have played during difficult periods.

"When I was going through the hardest moments, what gave me the strength to keep moving forward was THE B, THE BOYZ and my family," he said. "They are the reason I exist."

His feelings toward the group remained particularly clear. "THE BOYZ is my life. My everything," Eric said. "Because the members were there, the person I am today and THE B could exist."

A second chapter, "Eric & Son Youngjae," turns toward the person behind his stage identity. Eric described himself as sensitive and highly perfectionistic, acknowledging that those tendencies can lead him to push himself too hard and place significant pressure on himself.

The stage, however, remains where he feels most confident. "The moment I feel the most confident and at my best is definitely when I'm onstage," he said, adding that he is prepared to take risks for something he genuinely loves.

Looking toward his future music, Eric said he wants to communicate his thoughts, feelings and positive energy more openly, even when that honesty leaves him vulnerable.

"I'm going to keep moving forward and try everything, even when there's a possibility of failure," he said. "Failure is also part of the process of reaching success."

Eric recently signed an exclusive contract with GRID Entertainment as he begins expanding his individual activities while continuing to draw on the experiences he has built through THE BOYZ.

He closed the film with another message to fans: "Always remember. Eric loves you, THE B."
