K-pop group NEXZ has made its Latin American debut, expanding its global reach with performances in Brazil and Colombia.

NEXZ opened the lineup on Rock in Rio's main stage in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on September 11 local time. Two days earlier, the group performed at STRAYCITY in Bogotá, Colombia.

The seven members kicked off their set with "Beat-Boxer" before moving into rock arrangements of "O-RLY?," "Simmer" and "HARD." They also performed songs from their fourth EP, released last month, including "LOCO," "APPETITE" and "SAUCIN'."

NEXZ filled the stage with tightly synchronized choreography and moved closer to the audience during parts of the performance. The members also addressed fans using Portuguese and Spanish phrases they had learned in advance, drawing singalongs and fans following the choreography from the crowd.

Leader Tomoya also shared a dance challenge video set to "TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar)," NMIXX's collaboration with Brazilian artist Pabllo Vittar. The clip added a local connection to NEXZ's first run of Latin American performances.

The group also gained traction on YouTube charts during the trip. Its latest song, "SAUCIN'," topped YouTube's daily chart in several Latin American markets, including Venezuela, Uruguay, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

NEXZ will continue its STRAYCITY appearances in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 14 and 15. STRAYCITY is a music festival series headlined by the group's JYP Entertainment labelmates Stray Kids.

Following the Latin American dates, NEXZ will embark on its first Asian tour. The group will open the tour with concerts at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Songpa District on October 17 and 18.
