BOYNEXTDOOR Keeps the Party Going in a Taxi for "HOME: DELUXE"

BOYNEXTDOOR is keeping the party going all the way home in the latest visual teaser for "HOME: DELUXE."

The group released the concept film for "OVERDRIVE," the second visual concept for the repackage of its first full-length album, through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on September 15th.

Following the previously revealed "HAZE" concept, "OVERDRIVE" captures BOYNEXTDOOR after a night out, with the six members piling into a taxi while their energy is still running high.

The ride quickly becomes anything but ordinary. The members enter carrying items including a traffic cone and karaoke microphone, while Woonhak's bag seemingly produces an endless assortment of objects, ranging from pizza and snacks to a tambourine and Rubik's Cube.

Rather than settling down for the journey home, Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak sing, joke around and continue the night from the back seat.

The film plays with the taxi's limited space through unconventional camera work. A rotating 360-degree perspective and fisheye lens exaggerate the cramped setting and the members' movements, while shots from the driver's rearview mirror offer another view of the chaos unfolding behind him.

Concept photos released alongside the film continue inside and around the same taxi. The members squeeze themselves into different parts of the vehicle while eating pizza, flipping through a karaoke songbook and making use of the limited space for exaggerated poses.

The "OVERDRIVE" concept represents the point at which the group's excitement and energy have reached their peak, turning an otherwise routine taxi ride home into an extension of the night itself.

BOYNEXTDOOR will reveal the third visual concept for "HOME: DELUXE" on September 16, followed by a sneak peek of the new music on September 21.

"HOME: DELUXE" will be released on September 28 at 6 p.m. KST.
