What Will NCT 127 Bring to Its First Concert as Five?
K-pop boy group NCT 127 will launch its fifth world tour in Seoul on Sept. 18.
The group will hold "NCT 127 5TH TOUR 'NEO CITY : SEOUL – THE REDLINE'" for three days through Sept. 20 at KSPO DOME in Seoul's Olympic Park.
Built around the theme "THE REDLINE," the tour depicts the moment when the energy accumulated during the group's previous tour, "THE MOMENTUM," breaks through its limits. The setlist will feature tracks from NCT 127's seventh studio album, "BLINGY," as well as hit songs released over the past decade.
The Seoul concerts will mark NCT 127's first shows as a five-member lineup. Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service, while Mark left the group following the expiration of his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment.
A trailer released on Sept. 17 shows the members confronting their limits, overcoming them and moving forward together.
The Sept. 19 and 20 concerts will be livestreamed through Beyond LIVE and Weverse for fans unable to attend in person. The final show will also be broadcast to around 1,000 theaters across more than 40 regions, including South Korea, Japan, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand and Indonesia.
Following the Seoul concerts, NCT 127 will perform in Jakarta on Oct. 3, Hong Kong on Oct. 10 and 11, Singapore on Oct. 18, and Saitama on Oct. 24 and 25. The tour will continue in Bangkok on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, Manila on Dec. 12, Taipei on Jan. 2, Kuala Lumpur on Jan. 9 and Macau on Jan. 16.
