CRAVITY Gives 'Resonance' a Visual Form in New "sonorous" Teasers

CRAVITY is giving the idea of "resonance" a visual form in the latest teasers for its ninth mini album "sonorous."

Starship Entertainment released the album's "Echo" version concept photos through CRAVITY's official social media channels across September 16 and 17, ahead of the group's September 30 comeback.

Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin appear against a predominantly white setting surrounded by objects designed to evoke different forms of resonance.

Instruments, a swing and spiral-shaped objects are used to represent physical vibrations and movement, continuing the "resonance" imagery previously introduced through the album's story film.

The unit and group photos take the idea in a more emotional direction. Members are shown listening to music together, sharing an oversized knit garment and looking toward one another, using physical closeness to represent connection between the nine members.

The concept follows the story film released earlier this month, which introduced sonorous through imagery of ripples, waves and figures responding to one another across different environments.

The album itself centers on CRAVITY's nine members bringing their individual sounds together into a larger collective resonance.

CRAVITY has also revealed the tracklist for the release, including title track "LOUDER." Members participated in the album's creation, including contributing lyrics to the title track and self-written songs elsewhere on the record.

"sonorous" will be released across digital platforms on September 30 at 6 p.m. KST.
