SEVENTEEN's Most Chaotic Mafia Game Is Back After Three Years

SEVENTEEN has revived its popular "Don't Lie" series for the first time in three years with a new episode of "GOING SEVENTEEN."

Released Sept. 30, "EP.162 What Happened on Set: Don't Lie #1" marks the seventh installment of the Mafia-inspired series, which first began in 2020. The format combines the traditional social deduction game with a treasure hunt, with several past episodes surpassing 10 million views on YouTube.

This season introduces a more complicated set of roles and individual victory conditions. Alongside familiar positions such as Mafia, Doctor and Police, the game adds characters including a Sniper, Revolutionary, Troublemaker and Goblin, each capable of changing how players survive or win.

The expanded rules quickly lead to unexpected alliances and betrayals among the members, including secret cooperation between players who would normally be opponents.

The episode also teases an unusual conclusion. Interviews with the members suggest the game may end without a winner, potentially resulting in the first "Don't Lie" round in which every player is eliminated.
