Nam Ji-hyun Meets Kim Jae-young, an Adult Toy CEO, in TVING Series 'Make Me Tremble'
Actors Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young are set to cross paths twice over in a new TVING romantic comedy, first as reluctant blind dates and then as business partners.
TVING released new stills from its original series "Make Me Tremble" on Oct. 1, offering a first look at the two leads. The show is a romantic comedy about Gong Yeon-su (played by Nam Ji-hyun), the eldest daughter of a traditional family raised on strict Confucian values, and Dokgo Dal (played by Kim Jae-young), the CEO of an adult toy startup who holds no bias toward love or relationships.
The new photos trace the pair from their first awkward meeting at a matchmaking date to their later reunion in a professional setting.
Their initial introduction is arranged by the elders in both families. Because the meeting is set up by Gong Yeon-su's family elders and Dokgo Dal's parents, neither of them arrives with much enthusiasm. Their opposing views on love and relationships create a strange tension from the very first moment.
The connection does not end there. Gong Yeon-su, a marketer who has taken on the challenge of promoting sex toys, soon finds Dokgo Dal sitting across from her again as her client. The former blind-date partners are now tied together as marketer and client.
The stills reflect that shift. After sizing each other up at the matchmaking table, the two meet again in a business setting, their contrasting expressions adding to the quiet tension of the scene.
"Make Me Tremble" premieres Oct. 15 with the first four episodes set to be released simultaneously.
