Eric Nam Follows MTV VMAs Appearance With Fourth Full-Length Album
Singer-songwriter and actor Eric Nam is returning with a new full-length album. His fourth studio album, "Confessions of a Lonely Heart," arrives on the 16th at 1 p.m. KST.
Ahead of the release, Eric Nam shared a teaser video on his official social media. The clip follows him alone in quiet corners of the city, from the Han River waterfront park to roadside benches, drifting through the kind of still moments the album seems built around.
In the voiceover, Eric Nam opens with a confession. "I wake up in the middle of the night, stare into the dark, and listen to my own breathing," he says. "The noise in my head and the ringing in my ears won't go away." He goes on to describe filling the silence with podcasts, news, and weather reports, because music itself has become too much. "These days I can't listen to music," he says. "Every song sounds like a love song written for one specific person."
He also puts words to the feeling at the center of the record. "I don't know if this is loneliness, or if I'm about to fall apart," he says. "Maybe I just need one bit of warmth, or one person, to make me feel something strong enough to hurt, strong enough to cry."
The album lands after a steady run of singles this year. Eric Nam released "How the Fire Started," "Miss Me More," and "Someday" one after another, each setting up the mood that "Confessions of a Lonely Heart" now expands into a full body of work.
He recently signed an exclusive contract with the entertainment company all my anecdotes and has stayed busy across music, television, and film. In the U.S., he finished third on Peacock's competition series "The Traitors 4." He is also confirmed as a voice cast member on the animated feature "Avatar: Aang - The Last Airbender" and will appear in the film "K-Pop: The Debut."
Live, Eric Nam recently wrapped his "Spotlight: Eric Nam" show at the Clive Davis Theater inside the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. He also attended the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. On the 3rd of this month, he took the stage at the 2026 Art Forest Festival, held at Seoul Children's Grand Park.
"Confessions of a Lonely Heart" will be available across major streaming platforms starting on the 16th at 1 p.m. KST.
