Lee Jun-hyuk's TVING Hit 'The Ordinary Jackpot' Teases Shift Between Rivals Before Finale

TVING original drama "The Ordinary Jackpot" is heading into its final episodes, with the fate of fictional company Hongsung resting on a single negotiation. The streamer released new stills on Monday previewing the finale, teasing a shift in the relationships between rivals Gong Eun-tae and Jung Seon-hyuk, as well as a changed dynamic within the show's Sales Team 5.

The series, produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS and Bon Factory and directed and written by Yoon Young-bin, is based on the web novel of the same name by Seo In-ha. In its fourth week, "The Ordinary Jackpot" has held the top spot on TVING's weekday and weekend subscriber contribution rankings, showing steady momentum heading into its final run.

In episodes 7 and 8, Gong Eun-tae, played by Lee Jun-hyuk, found a way to protect Hongsung and set up a direct confrontation with Jung Seon-hyuk, played by Oh Dae-hwan. The arrival of Martina, played by Yoon Se-ah, as the key negotiation partner raised the stakes even further.

The new stills focus on that negotiation. Gong Eun-tae and Yang Jun-ho, played by Seo Hyun-woo, are shown leading the talks. Their faces look calm, but the small details tell a different story. Gong fidgets with his hands. Yang stares across the table with a sense of urgency in his eyes. Across from them, Martina carries a composed and polished presence that hints she will not be an easy opponent.

Another image shows a softer moment between Gong Eun-tae and Jung Seon-hyuk. Jung has returned as Hongsung's full-on adversary, and Gong has found the opening he needed to fight back. Even so, both men wear quiet smiles, as if the outcome of their battle no longer defines them. It is a small moment that hints at where their long-running rivalry might actually land.

The final still turns to Sales Team 5 on their way to work. Gong Eun-tae used to arrive alone and earlier than anyone else. Now Yang Jun-ho, Park Ki-tae (played by Hong Jin-ki), Lee Ji-hye (played by Ha Yul-ri), and Jang Hyang-eun (played by Baek Ye-in) show up alongside him. Each character has been chasing a personal version of a "lotto win," and the finale is set to show where that daily grind ultimately takes them.

The production team said the final two episodes will center on the make-or-break negotiation over Hongsung's fate and the last chapter for Sales Team 5. Episodes 9 and 10 of "The Ordinary Jackpot" will be released early on TVING on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. KST. The series will air on tvN on Oct. 12 and 13 at 9 p.m. KST.
