BTS' 'ARIRANG' Hits 5 Billion Streams, Becomes 2026's Most-Streamed Album
BTS' fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG," has surpassed 5 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the most-streamed album released in 2026.
According to Spotify figures as of Oct. 14, the album has accumulated roughly 2 billion more streams than Olivia Rodrigo's "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love," the year's second-most-streamed release.
All 14 tracks on "ARIRANG," including the bell-sound interlude "No. 29," have exceeded 200 million streams individually. Title track "SWIM" is also approaching the 1 billion mark.
Released March 20, "ARIRANG" marked BTS' first album in approximately three years and nine months. It generated more than 110 million Spotify streams on its opening day, while all 14 tracks occupied the top 14 positions on the platform's Daily Top Songs Global chart.
"SWIM" led the chart with approximately 14 million streams that day.
The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remained there for three consecutive weeks, becoming the first group album to achieve that feat since Mumford & Sons' "Babel" in 2012.
