xikers Drop Grunge-Meets-Folk Concept Posters for 8th EP
K-POP boy group xikers has unveiled a second round of concept photos for its upcoming EP. The group's agency, KQ Entertainment, posted the new concept posters for "ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING" on its official social media channels from the 12th through the 14th.
In the posters, the members of xikers appear in styling that leans on frayed fabrics, denim, and metal chain details. They stare straight into the camera.
Behind them stands a large sculptural piece shaped like horns and thorns. The group image folds the members' transformation into a dokkaebi, a horned spirit from Korean folklore, into a single frame, using shadow work to visualize the shift. Individual cuts pair grunge styling with folk-inspired details.
The approach marks a clear turn from the first set of posters, which stuck to a tidy, all-black palette. The second round puts the loosened, unraveled styling front and center.
xikers' eighth EP "ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING" drops November 2 at 6 p.m. KST on music streaming platforms.
