SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan and Joshua Show Off New Sounds in Album Preview
SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua have shared a first listen to their upcoming unit EP, "DREAMSCAPE," through a highlight medley featuring all seven tracks.
Released Oct. 14, the video combines snippets of the songs with narration and dreamlike imagery, offering a closer look at the musical direction of their first unit album.
Title track "12 o'clock" draws on 1970s and 1980s disco and funk, pairing retro influences with the duo's softer vocal tones. Its lyrics explore the idea of searching for someone who repeatedly appears and disappears, blurring the boundaries between dreams and reality.
The album also moves across several genres, from the house-inspired "Like You" and bass-driven "Outside" to the R&B and soul influences of "One Plus One."
Both members will have solo tracks, with Joshua exploring alternative rock on "Not Personal" and Jeonghan incorporating electro-house elements into "Coloring." Closing track "No Looking Back" introduces a heavier band sound.
The highlight medley follows a surreal visual journey through shifting skies, colorful cityscapes and nighttime scenery, reflecting the album's central theme of dreams intersecting with reality.
"DREAMSCAPE" will be released Oct. 19.
