OH MY GIRL's Hyojung Sets Solo Debut EP and First Live Shows in Seoul, Tokyo

OH MY GIRL member Hyojung is stepping out on her own. The singer shared a teaser video on October 13 previewing her first solo mini-album, "Lost&Found," set for release later this week.

The clip, posted to OH MY GIRL's official YouTube channel, is a prologue version of the music video for the title track "Mi-wan-seong-il-ji-do." In the video, Hyojung smiles as she packs her bags while looking at a blank, unmarked map.

The title track is about trusting your own choices rather than living by other people's standards or the "right" answer, and moving forward even when you feel unfinished. The lyrics track the honest, everyday process of figuring out who you are.

"Lost&Found" is Hyojung's first solo release since her debut with OH MY GIRL. The project looks back at her career so far while pointing toward where she wants to go next. It carries six tracks in total: the title song, "Huhoehaneun Geotboda Sangcheoin Ge Deo Nael Jido Molla," "8 (if)," and instrumental versions of three of the songs. Hyojung wrote the lyrics and composed the melodies for every track on the album.

"Lost&Found" arrives on October 15 at 6 p.m. KST on music streaming platforms. Hyojung will follow the release with her first solo concert run, "HYOJUNG 1st LIVE 'Lost&Found'." She performs on October 17 and 18 at Xscala in Seoul's Jung district, then on November 1 at TIAT SKY HALL in Tokyo.

The move marks a notable new chapter for Hyojung, who has fronted OH MY GIRL as leader since the group's 2015 debut. With a self-written project and her own stages in two cities, the solo rollout positions her beyond the group dynamic for the first time.
