LE SSERAFIM's Manila Concert Cut to One Night as Fans Question Seat Reassignments
LE SSERAFIM's upcoming Manila concerts have been reduced from two nights to one, with the Dec. 6 performance of the group's "PUREFLOW" tour canceled and ticket holders transferred to the Dec. 5 show at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The change, announced by local organizer PULP Live World on Oct. 26, comes just over a month before the five-member group's scheduled return to the Philippines. While affected fans have been offered the option of attending the remaining concert or requesting a refund, the revised arrangements have drawn criticism over seat assignments, travel disruptions and the limited time available to make a decision.
The organizer has not provided a specific explanation for canceling the second performance.
"We sincerely apologize, as all December 6 ticket holders for the 2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'PUREFLOW' IN MANILA will be relocated to the December 5, 2026 (Saturday) show at the Mall of Asia Arena," PULP Live World stated.
The company acknowledged the inconvenience and thanked fans, known as FEARNOT, for their understanding as it works to make the Manila stop a success.
Originally scheduled for December 5 and 6, the concerts were announced in August as a two-night engagement at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Ticket prices ranged from $62 (PHP 4,000) to $241 (PHP 15,500,) excluding ticketing fees, with premium packages offering additional benefits including soundcheck access and exclusive merchandise.
Following the announcement, the revised arrangements quickly became a subject of discussion among Filipino fans, many of whom questioned why the change was being made after tickets had already gone on sale.
Some described the announcement as vague, arguing that it offered detailed instructions for ticket transfers and refunds without explaining the decision itself. Others expressed disappointment that the two-night engagement had been reduced to a single performance, particularly after purchasing tickets for a specific date or seating location.
According to PULP Live World, December 6 ticket holders who choose to attend the December 5 concert will receive the best available seats within their original ticket category. However, the replacement seats may differ from those initially selected, and attendees will not be able to choose their new assignments individually.
For fans who deliberately purchased particular sections or rows, the promise of remaining within the same ticket tier has not fully addressed concerns about potentially different views of the stage.
"We paid for specific seats, day, and time, not an entry ticket. We deserve the option to refund AFTER we see our new seat assignments," wrote an X user. Another fan on the same platform expressed similar frustration in a reply to the organizer's announcement.
"This isn't just about whether there are enough seats to accommodate all of us who are supposedly Day 2 goers," the fan wrote. "We're angry because we're not getting the original seats that we CHOSE and PAID FOR."
Nevertheless, the changes have created uncertainty for Dec. 6 ticket holders who must decide whether to accept a new seating arrangement. Affected fans have until Nov. 3 to request a refund, while physical ticket exchanges will not begin until Nov. 21.
As a result, fans may need to decide whether to retain their tickets before learning exactly where they will be seated at the remaining concert.
Attending a major K-POP concert often involves planning months in advance, particularly for fans who must travel to Manila from other parts of the Philippines. Flights, hotels, work schedules and school commitments may have been arranged around the original Dec. 6 performance.
Moving the concert to Dec. 5 therefore creates a potential conflict for attendees who deliberately chose the Sunday show because it better suited their schedules. Even those able to attend the revised date may face additional costs if existing reservations need to be changed.
Originally promoted as a two-night Manila engagement, the Dec. 5 concert will now serve as the final scheduled performance of the tour.
For Filipino FEARNOTs, the show remains an opportunity to see Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae perform, but the revised arrangements mean some fans will no longer attend on the date or in the seats they originally purchased.
While the Dec. 5 concert is still set to proceed, the cancellation has left some fans navigating new schedules, uncertain seat assignments and additional administrative steps just weeks before the group's arrival.
