Park Min-young, Yook Sung-jae Romance 'Nine to Six' Drops First Teaser

Actress Park Min-young is teaming up with actor Yook Sung-jae, nine years her junior, in a new romance drama. In the show, her character began to waver under his bold advances.

On Oct. 29, the team behind the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine to Six" released its first teaser video. The series follows a career-driven, rational woman who has lived only for her work. When she meets a warm, emotionally expressive man, her ideas about work, love and happiness start to change.

The teaser opens with Kang Yi-ji (played by Park Min-young) going about her daily routine. Her skills are widely recognized at her company, but her co-workers don't hold back. "She's a very difficult person," they say.

Kang lives up to that. "I'll organize it according to the manual," she says.

Then Han Seon-woo (Yook Sung-jae) steps into her life. He offers her some bread and tells her to pick whatever she likes. As she eats, he watches her with a tender gaze. "Do you know your eyes really sparkle?" he asks, and she can't help but smile.

He doesn't back off. "I'm going to stick right by your side, Deputy Manager Kang," he tells her. His bold approach to his older colleague raises questions about how their relationship will develop.

A third character joins the picture. Park Hyeon-tae (Go Soo), an elite division head, offers Kang a ride. "Get in. I'll take you," he says. With Han and Park both reaching out to her in very different ways, the dynamic among the three looks set to change.

The teaser ends with Kang and Han running into each other at an elevator on the way to work. Han catches the closing door. Kang, already inside, flashes a bright smile and says, "Good morning." Thrown by this unfamiliar side of her, Han is briefly lost for words.

"Nine to Six" premieres Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. KST.
