A2O LITE's debut single "NEON" is gaining momentum in Japan, climbing sharply on major streaming charts just over two weeks after its release.

According to Oricon's latest rankings announced Oct. 29, "NEON" topped the weekly streaming growth chart for Oct. 19–25.

The song also jumped from No. 48 to No. 5 on Oricon's weekly streaming chart.

On Billboard Japan's Streaming Songs chart released Oct. 28, "NEON" climbed 43 places to No. 4 from No. 47.

The track generated approximately 5.19 million streams during the tracking period, around 2.3 times its previous week's total. It recorded the highest week-on-week streaming growth among songs appearing on the chart for two consecutive weeks.

The Japanese chart gains follow A2O LITE's recent debut on Billboard's global rankings, where "NEON" reached No. 8 on the Global 200 and No. 3 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

In South Korea, the song has held No. 1 on Melon's Top 100 for 15 consecutive days.

The nine-member group has also collected six music show trophies, including two wins on "Show Champion," as it continues promotions for its debut single.
