TXT Is Bringing the 'Storm' Into the Real World Ahead of Comeback
K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has launched interactive events ahead of its upcoming ninth EP, giving fans a chance to experience the new album's concept through an in-person event in Seoul and an online game.
TXT began hosting "Catch Your Angel" near Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul on Nov. 6. The event is based on the message of the album's title track, "Angel Bite," which expresses the desire to stay with someone special despite the difficulties and imperfections of reality.
Participants choose a message card representing something they want to hold on to, even in a chaotic world. They then enter the "Wind Booth," where strong gusts of wind blow as they try to catch a ball symbolizing their choice. The activity turns the song's message into a physical experience. The event runs through Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. KST.
The group has also introduced an online game inspired by the album's concept. "PERFECT STORM GAME" launched on Nov. 6 at 11 p.m. KST, allowing players to choose one of the five TXT members and navigate a glider through a storm while avoiding wind, rain and obstacles.
The game features characters modeled after the members, along with graphics inspired by visuals from the album's "RIDE THE STORM" version. It is available to play online, with a second installment planned for a later date.
TXT will release its ninth EP, "PERFECT STORM," on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. KST. The six-track album explores emotions ranging from pain and intense desire to moments of bold change. It features a mix of genres, including Discoplug, avant-pop, dance-punk and minimal techno.
Several members also contributed to the lyrics. Soobin and Beomgyu wrote the lyrics for the unit track "Touch the Sky," while Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai participated in writing "Hate It or Love It."
Ahead of the album's release, TXT will kick off its "STEAL THE WIND" world tour with three concerts at KSPO DOME in Seoul's Olympic Park from Nov. 13 to 15. The tour will then continue across other parts of Asia, including Japan, as well as North America and Europe.
The group is also scheduled to perform at the "2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour," organized by U.S. media company iHeartRadio, in December.
