Red Velvet Sets August Comeback as Full Group With Wendy and Yeri
K-POP group Red Velvet is set to return as a full group this August, reuniting all five members for the first time in more than two years. The comeback will also mark the first full-group activity to include Wendy and Yeri since both left SM Entertainment last year.
The group will release a new album in August. It will be Red Velvet's first complete activity since "Cosmic," which dropped in June 2024, roughly two years and two months ago.
On Monday, a poster announcing "2026 Red Velvet FAN-CON <A Day in Red & Velvet>" was shared on the group's official fan community and social media accounts.
The fan-con will be held at Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul, with shows on August 1 at 6 p.m. KST and August 2 at 4 p.m. KST. The concerts will feature performances of the group's signature songs along with segments built around interaction with fans.
The first show carries extra weight. August 1 is Red Velvet's debut anniversary, and the members will spend the night marking their 12th anniversary together with fans.
