BTS' V Asks Fans to Respect Privacy During World Tour
BTS member V has asked fans to respect the group's privacy during the ongoing "ARIRANG" world tour, urging them not to wait outside the hotel where the members are staying.
In a message posted on the fan community platform Weverse on July 1, V thanked fans for their support but said he hoped they would refrain from gathering at the hotel.
"I'm so grateful that you come to welcome us, but if possible, I'd appreciate it if you could refrain from coming to the hotel," he wrote.
V explained that he prefers not to disclose where the members are staying, adding that the situation can affect his condition before concerts. He also said one of the things he values most while touring is having the chance to experience each country at his own pace.
"Whether it's trying local restaurants or simply walking around, those moments are really precious to me," he wrote, before asking fans for their understanding and consideration.
Alongside the message, V shared a screenshot from a sleep-tracking app showing he had slept for just 2 hours and 27 minutes, reinforcing the importance of getting enough rest during the demanding tour schedule.
BTS is currently on its "ARIRANG" world tour, which includes 88 concerts across 34 cities. After opening the European leg in Madrid last week, the group is performing in Brussels on July 1 and 2 before continuing to London, Munich and Paris.
