SEVENTEEN's Vernon Revisits His Childhood in 'MIA' Official Film

SEVENTEEN member Vernon has released the official film for his solo track "MIA," offering a personal look back at his childhood and journey as an artist.

Released July 8, the video accompanies the song from V8's debut mini album, the unit project by Vernon and The8. It opens with the voices of Vernon's parents calling him by his Korean name, Hansol, before tracing moments from his early years through playful home-video-style scenes.

As the film progresses, it shifts from carefree childhood memories to Vernon's career with SEVENTEEN, highlighting his growth from a curious young boy into a performer. The nostalgic visuals complement the song's reflective lyrics, emphasizing the experiences that shaped him both personally and professionally.

"MIA" was created in collaboration with producer KIRARA, a two-time winner at the Korean Music Awards, along with Han Jeongin and longtime collaborator Robb Roy. Built around energetic beats and an addictive lead melody, the track explores Vernon's honest thoughts while maintaining an uplifting sound.

The official film arrives ahead of V8's upcoming live performances in Goyang on July 11-12 and Hong Kong on July 17-19, where Vernon and The8 will bring songs from the project to the stage.
