SEVENTEEN has reached another milestone in Japan as its 11th mini album "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN" received a Million certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

According to the RIAJ's latest monthly certifications released July 10, the album surpassed 1 million shipments in Japan as of June, earning the organization's highest shipment-based certification. It marks the first Million-certified release by an overseas artist this year.

The achievement gives SEVENTEEN its third RIAJ Million certification, following its Japanese EP "DREAM" and Korean mini album "FML." Notably, both "FML" and "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN" are Korean releases, underscoring the group's sustained popularity in the Japanese market.

Originally released in October 2023, "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN" set a new K-POP record with more than 5 million first-week sales, becoming the first album in the genre to surpass the milestone. Nearly two years after its release, the album continues to record steady sales, reflecting the group's lasting appeal and continued growth in its fanbase.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN members continue to expand their individual activities. Unit V8, consisting of Vernon and The8, will begin its first live shows on July 11, while Dino is set to release a solo album under his alter ego Pi Cheolin on Aug. 3.
