BTS Extends 'ARIRANG' Chart Run in U.K., Germany Ahead of FIFA Halftime Show

BTS's fifth studio album "ARIRANG" is still moving up global charts four months after its release. The long run underlines the group's staying power as it heads into a major stretch of its world tour.

On Spotify's latest Weekly Top Albums Global chart, covering July 3 through 9, "ARIRANG" landed at No. 2. BTS has now stayed in the chart's top tier for 16 straight weeks and picked up its ninth No. 1 on the chart this year, the most of any act in 2026. The title track "SWIM" held at No. 6 on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, unchanged from the week before. Album tracks "Body to Body," "2.0" and "Hooligan" also stayed on the chart for a 16th week. "Come Over," released last month, has now held its spot for a full month.

The album climbed in the U.K. as well. On the Official Albums Top 100 chart dated July 10 through 16, "ARIRANG" rose 16 places to No. 21. It jumped 20 spots to No. 25 on the Official Album Streaming chart and 21 spots to No. 15 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, a clear rebound in its 16th week out. It also moved up 10 places on both the Official Album Sales and Official Physical Albums charts to reach No. 10, and held at No. 14 on the Official Scottish Albums chart.

In Germany, the album came in at No. 9 on the Top 100 Albums chart dated July 10, keeping it in the top 10 for 16 weeks in a row. "SWIM" bounced back to No. 88 on the Top 100 Singles chart. On Australia's ARIA charts dated July 13, "ARIRANG" placed at No. 12 on the Top 50 Albums chart and No. 15 on the Top 20 Vinyl Albums chart.

The chart run comes as BTS steps into one of the biggest weeks of its world tour. On July 11 and 12 local time, the group performs solo shows at Allianz Arena in Munich, becoming the first Korean act to headline the venue. On July 19, BTS takes the halftime stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at a stadium in New Jersey, sharing the show with Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.
