SEVENTEEN's V8 Draws 15,000 Fans to First All-Standing Live Shows

SEVENTEEN unit V8, made up of The8 and Vernon, successfully wrapped up its first live concerts in Goyang, drawing about 15,000 fans across two nights with an all-standing format.

Held on July 11 and 12 at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1, "2026 VERNON THE 8 'V8' LIVE - GOYANG" marked the first time a SEVENTEEN unit staged a concert with an entirely standing audience. Fans from 63 countries and regions also joined through online livestreaming.

The duo performed every track from its debut mini album "V8," while also unveiling the first live performances of "Friend," "girlsnboys" and "54321 (Lift Off)," originally featured on The8's Chinese EP. The setlist also included reimagined versions of SEVENTEEN songs, unreleased solo tracks and a DJ performance by The8, creating a festival-like atmosphere throughout the 150-minute show.

Speaking to fans, the members said they had spent considerable time developing a new concert format and thanked CARATs for embracing the experience. They added that the enthusiastic response gave them confidence to keep pushing forward, promising that "V8 will be back."

The unit will continue the tour in Hong Kong from July 17 to 19, where an additional show was added after the original dates sold out quickly.
