NCT WISH Releases 'YO-I-DON!' Following Sold-Out Fan Meeting in Tokyo
NCT WISH has released its new Japanese title track "YO-I-DON!," building on the momentum of a sold-out fan meeting that drew about 40,000 fans in Tokyo.
The song was released July 13 through global streaming platforms as the second title track from the group's upcoming Japanese single "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL." It follows the earlier release of "BOY MEETS GIRL" on June 22, completing the double-title project ahead of the physical album's launch.
Built on energetic Eurobeat-inspired dance-pop, "YO-I-DON!" takes its name from the Japanese phrase used to signal the start of a race. The lyrics capture the excitement of taking a new step toward dreams and new beginnings, while the accompanying music video follows the members competing in a playful race to win Cupid's golden-wing trophy.
The release comes after NCT WISH wrapped up four sold-out fan meeting shows at Tokyo's Keio Arena on July 11 and 12. The performances attracted approximately 40,000 attendees and featured the first live stages of songs from the upcoming single.
NCT WISH will officially release the physical edition of "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL" in Japan on July 15.
