All Members of NCT 127 Renews Contracts With SM Entertainment

NCT 127 will continue its journey with SM Entertainment after all seven current members renewed their contracts with the agency.

SM Entertainment confirmed on July 15 that Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo and Haechan have all renewed their contracts. Although Doyoung and Jungwoo still had time remaining on their existing agreements, both chose to renew before enlisting, with the agency citing the members' trust in the team and the company.

The announcement comes as NCT 127 prepares for a major new chapter. The group is set to release its seventh full-length album on Aug. 24, its first studio album in about two years, before kicking off its fifth world tour, "NEO CITY – THE REDLINE." Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan participated in the upcoming album, while Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently serving their mandatory military service.

SM thanked fans for their continued support and said it would continue to support NCT 127's activities fully.

With a new album on the way and all seven members committed to staying together, the contract renewal removes any uncertainty about the group's future as it enters its second decade.
