Red Velvet Sells Out Added Fan-Con Show Ahead of Group Comeback
Red Velvet has sold out all three dates of its upcoming fan concert in Seoul, including a newly added show, underscoring strong demand for the group's first full-member performance in nearly two years.
The group's "2026 Red Velvet FAN-CON 'A Day in Red & Velvet'" will take place from July 31 to Aug. 2 at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium. The original Aug. 1-2 dates sold out during fan club presales, prompting SM Entertainment to add a July 31 performance, which also quickly reached full capacity.
The fan-con will mark Red Velvet's first appearance as a complete group since 2024, fueling anticipation among fans eager to see all five members back on stage together.
Shortly after the concerts, Red Velvet will return with its new summer mini album, "Velvet Summer," on Aug. 3. The five-track release is led by the title song "Surfin' Boy," which the agency describes as a fresh take on the group's signature summer sound.
The album will be released across major streaming platforms at 6 p.m. KST on Aug. 3, launching the group's latest promotions following the sold-out fan-con weekend.
