IVE's Jang Wonyoung to Throw First Pitch at New York Mets Game

IVE will make a special appearance at a Major League Baseball game in the United States later this month, with member Jang Wonyoung set to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

According to Starship Entertainment, the group has been invited by the New York Mets to attend the matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field on July 26. Jang will take the mound for the first pitch as part of the event.

The members are also scheduled to film special content with former Korean Major League pitchers Kim Byung-hyun and Dustin Nippert during the visit.

The appearance comes as IVE continues to expand its activities overseas. After performing at Lollapalooza Chicago and completing its first world tour, the group is currently meeting fans through its second world tour, "Show What I Am," with stops across North America.

The North American leg begins on July 21 and continues into August. Earlier this year, IVE also appeared on FOX11's "Good Day LA" to discuss its second full-length album, "Revive+," and its international promotions, further strengthening the group's presence in the US market.
