NCT WISH Tops Oricon Daily Singles Chart With New Japanese Release

NCT WISH has claimed the top spot on Oricon's Daily Singles Ranking with its latest Japanese single, continuing the group's strong momentum in the market.

According to SM Entertainment, "YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL," released on July 15, reached No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Singles Ranking dated July 17.

The group also appeared on TBS' annual music special "Ongaku no Hi 2026" on July 18, where it performed "BOY MEETS GIRL" alongside Japanese dance-pop group TRF, which originally released the song in 1994. NCT WISH reimagined the classic hit with upbeat synths, house-inspired rhythms and a newly added rap section while retaining the warmth of the original.

Member Riku also took part in a special dance performance organized by Japanese choreography group s**t kingz, joining local artists for performances of "Slow Burn" and "Ikenai Taiyo."

Meanwhile, NCT WISH is celebrating the release of its new single with a large-scale outdoor promotional campaign across Tokyo's Shibuya district, featuring the members on digital billboards and other advertisements through July 28.
