CORTIS Opens First Tour With Sold-Out Concert in Incheon
CORTIS successfully launched its first headlining tour with two sold-out concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 18 and 19, drawing thousands of fans less than a year after the group's debut.
The five-member act opened the shows with a high-energy medley of "YOUNGCREATORCREW," "FaSHioN" and the chart-topping "REDRED" before performing tracks from its first two mini albums. Throughout the nearly three-hour concert, the members moved across the extended stage and into the arena floor, interacting closely with fans while delivering live vocals and synchronized choreography.
One of the night's highlights came during "TNT," when more than 20 dancers joined the group to recreate a mosh pit onstage. The members also led a singalong to debut title track "What You Want," while performances of "JoyRide," "Lullaby," "Blue Lips" and "Wassup" transformed the arena into a sea of light sticks and phone flashlights.
During the encore, CORTIS thanked fans for filling its biggest venue to date, saying the support made the milestone especially meaningful ahead of the group's first debut anniversary.
The group will next perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31 and Aug. 1 as the only K-pop boy group on this year's lineup before launching its North American tour in Toronto on Aug. 4. CORTIS will also hold its "Birthday Party" concerts in Seoul on Aug. 22 and 23 to celebrate its first anniversary.
