Red Velvet Previews New B-Sides From Upcoming Release

Red Velvet has offered another preview of its upcoming summer mini album "Velvet Summer," unveiling new music and teaser images ahead of its August comeback.

At midnight on July 22, the group released mood clips featuring instrumental snippets of album tracks "Hot Girls Cold Vibe" and "Orchestra," along with a new set of teaser images set against a dark ocean at night. The visuals highlight a dreamy, cinematic atmosphere, offering another glimpse of the concept for the upcoming release.

"Hot Girls Cold Vibe" is a pop dance track driven by an infectious bassline, guitar riffs and dynamic beat changes. The song was written and composed by longtime Red Velvet collaborator KENZIE and captures the carefree confidence of a summer night, touching on themes of friendship, romance and youthful freedom.

Meanwhile, "Orchestra" reinterprets Henry Mancini's classic composition "Lujon" with a modern sound. The track uses orchestral imagery to portray the emotions of two people falling in love over the course of a summer evening.

Red Velvet's mini album "Velvet Summer" will be released on Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. KST on digital music platforms.
