KATSEYE Unleashes Fierce New Single 'Animal' Ahead of Upcoming EP

Global girl group KATSEYE has released its new digital single "Animal," offering another glimpse of the group’s upcoming third EP, "WILD."

Released on July 24 alongside an accompanying music video, the pop track explores the tension between composure and instinct through driving rhythms, infectious hooks and bold lyrics. Rather than telling a fixed story, "Animal" leaves room for listeners to interpret its themes in their own way while highlighting the group's evolving musical identity.

The song boasts an impressive list of collaborators, including British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran as a co-writer. Producer Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, Grammy-winning producer Blake Slatkin and hitmaker Omer Fedi also contributed to the track.

Directed by Cody Critcheloe, the music video shifts between sterile office settings and striking red-lit spaces, creating a suspenseful visual narrative. The choreography, inspired by animalistic movements, is paired with a surprise cameo from actress Demi Moore.

"Animal" serves as the latest preview of KATSEYE's EP "WILD," due Aug. 14. Before the album's release, the group will premiere its first theatrical documentary, "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS," on Aug. 12, followed by the launch of its “THE WILDWORLD Tour” across North America and Europe in September.
