ONEWE Continues Storytelling Series With Single 'The Wake'

ONEWE is set to release the digital single "線 : The Wake" on July 27, continuing the band's ongoing "Point, Line, Plane" trilogy ahead of its next full-length album.

The single will arrive on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. KST and serves as the second installment following May's "點 : The Quiver." The trilogy will conclude with the band's third studio album, "面 : Unknown Atlas," scheduled for release on Aug. 19.

Its title track, "Neverland," tells the story of people escaping the pressures of reality and being drawn into an imagined world where they rediscover freedom and childlike wonder. Built around grunge-inspired electric guitar and a steady rhythm section, the song promises a dreamlike atmosphere while showcasing ONEWE's signature band sound.

The accompanying music video will be presented in an animated format, depicting the members as fantasy-inspired characters including Peter Pan, an explorer, a mermaid, a forest guardian and a fairy in a reimagined Neverland.

Known for writing and producing much of its own music, ONEWE is expected to further expand its narrative-driven approach through "The Wake" as it builds anticipation for the final chapter of the trilogy next month.
