ILLIT's New Japanese Single Debuts in Oricon Top 3

ILLIT has made a strong start in Japan, with its second Japanese single "I Got Your Back" landing near the top of Oricon's latest singles chart while the title track continues to gain traction across streaming platforms.

According to Oricon's daily rankings released July 29, "I Got Your Back" debuted at No. 3 on the Daily Singles Ranking dated July 28. The release follows the group's successful Japanese debut single "Toki Yo Tomare," giving ILLIT another top-tier entry on the chart.

The title track, "I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA)," has also performed well digitally, holding the No. 1 spot on AWA's real-time rising chart for four consecutive days. The song has additionally secured positions on major Japanese streaming services including Line Music, Spotify Japan and iTunes Japan.

The group's momentum extends beyond its latest release. Four ILLIT songs, including "It's Me," "Magnetic" and the collaboration single "ICONIC BY MISTAKE," appeared simultaneously on Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart.

ILLIT will continue promotions in Japan with a performance on NHK's "Venue101" on Aug. 1, followed by a guest appearance on Nippon Broadcasting's "HANA's All Night Nippon X" on Aug. 7.
