WayV Previews New Sounds on Upcoming EP

WayV is offering a closer look at its upcoming eighth mini album "Vision Wings," highlighting three new tracks that reflect the group's confidence and musical versatility ahead of its release.

The seven-track album includes both Chinese and English versions of the title song "Vision Wings." Each track is built around a different Chinese character sharing the same pronunciation, creating a connected narrative about the driving forces behind the group's journey.

Among the newly introduced B-sides, "Blue Fever" reimagines the sound of 1990s West Coast hip-hop and R&B with a modern twist, pairing an infectious hook with powerful group vocals. "Count It" leans into bounce-driven R&B hip-hop while delivering lyrics about ambition and looking toward the future. Meanwhile, "Icon" combines dance hip-hop, glitchy synths and layered R&B harmonies to tell a story about forging one's own path.

WayV has also released mood samplers and teaser images inspired by the balance of yin and yang, continuing to build anticipation for the comeback.

Following the album's release on Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. KST, the group will launch its "BORN THIS Way" concert tour with two shows in Seoul on Sept. 12 and 13.
