A2O MAY to Make Korean Music Show Debut
A2O MAY is set to make its first appearance on a Korean music show as interest in the group’s latest single, "Love Got Me Ooh," continues to spread beyond China and the United States.
The five-member girl group, consisting of CHENYU, SHIJIE, QUCHANG, MICHE and KAT, has primarily promoted overseas since its debut. Its releases have repeatedly entered U.S. Mediabase Top 40 charts, while the group has also performed at events including Wango Tango and the official pre-show for New York’s Jingle Ball.
"Love Got Me Ooh" recently reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s new song chart in China. The track and its companion song, "Rain On My Parade," also occupied the top two spots on the platform’s real-time popularity ranking on July 19.
Interest has since grown among Korean listeners, with fans calling for the group to perform on local music programs following the release of its music video. The song was also included in the preliminary voting lineup for Mnet's "M Countdown."
Produced by Lee Soo-man, A2O MAY’s upcoming appearance will mark the group’s first direct meeting with Korean music fans.
