TWS Drops Japanese Single 'SODA SODA,' Bringing Summer Energy to Fans
TWS officially released its second Japanese single, "SODA SODA," on Aug. 4, continuing to build its presence in Japan with a bright, youth-focused sound.
The single captures the excitement of holding onto unforgettable moments while looking ahead to new memories. Alongside the title track, the release includes "Palm Tree," a song inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of a summer night by the sea, and a Japanese version of "If I'm S, Can You Be My N?" from the group's second mini album.
The title song, co-composed by Kyungmin, Youngjae and Jihoon, compares feelings of young love to the refreshing burst of sparkling soda. Ahead of the official release, the track made an early appearance on LINE MUSIC's real-time Song Top 100 chart, signaling strong initial interest.
TWS also held a showcase in Tokyo on Aug. 3, where the group performed "SODA SODA" live for the first time. The upbeat choreography, highlighted by a playful move inspired by shaking a ramune soda bottle, drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
"We've been looking forward to seeing 42 again," the members said, referring to the group's fandom. "We hope everyone enjoys a refreshing summer with us, and we want to create memories together that feel like a summer festival."
Following the release, TWS will continue its promotions in Japan with television appearances, summer festivals and additional stops on its Asia tour.
