KATSEYE Scores Career-High Billboard Hot 100 Debut With 'Animal'

KATSEYE continues its rapid rise on the U.S. charts as its latest single, "Animal," debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated Aug. 8, marking the group's highest entry on the chart to date.

The milestone extends KATSEYE's streak of Hot 100 appearances to five consecutive releases, following "Gnarly," "Gabriela," "Internet Girl" and "PINKY UP." Including its collaboration with LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, the group has now landed six songs on the chart overall.

"Animal" also surpassed the group's previous best Hot 100 debut, set by "PINKY UP," which opened at No. 28 earlier this year. The steady climb reflects KATSEYE's growing momentum in the global market with each new release.

The song also performed well across other major charts. It entered the Billboard Global 200 at No. 10 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 12, while reaching No. 5 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart and earning top-10 placements on the platform's weekly global and U.S. rankings.

A vibrant pop track built around energetic beats and themes of instinct and self-expression, "Animal" showcases a more mature vocal performance from the six-member group. The single arrives ahead of KATSEYE's third EP, "WILD," which is set for release on Aug. 14.
