IVE's Jang Wonyoung Praised by Industry Insider: "Easy to Work With"

K-pop group IVE member Jang Wonyoung is drawing attention for her professionalism.

A short clip titled "Jang Wonyoung Turning Down the Camera" recently spread across Korean online communities and social media. In the video, a camera operator filming an IVE performance turns toward Jang after Leeseo finishes her part. Jang instead gestures toward Rei, who is next to sing.

When Rei's part ends and the camera returns to Jang, she points toward Liz, the next member in the vocal sequence. The moment showed Jang keeping track of both the song's vocal order and her bandmates' positions while performing.

As the clip circulated, a commenter claiming to work in the entertainment industry shared their experience with Jang.

"People who have worked in this industry will know how easy it is to work with Won-young," the commenter wrote. "A three-hour shoot can be finished in 40 minutes. She is already at her mark before being told and knows exactly how to pose."

"Most of all, she communicates very clearly, which makes her incredibly easy to work with," the commenter added.

Born in 2004, Jang debuted as a member of IVE in 2021. The group is currently holding its second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," which is set to conclude in Taipei, Taiwan, on Sep. 13. Jang is also presenting the exhibition "AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL" with fellow IVE member An Yu-jin.
