Rookie K-POP boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE is turning its latest single into one of the season's most-shared dance clips. The group's "BORN DIRE" challenge has spread quickly across short-form video, pulling in a long list of K-POP artists and celebrities.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE, also known as ALD1, released its second EP "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST" on the 24th of last month. Soon after, the group posted a challenge video built around the main choreography of the title track "BORN DIRE."

The routine leans on a few sharp, easy-to-copy moves paired with a repeating hook. That simple structure has made it a fit for short-form platforms, where users have been posting their own versions. Guest appearances from Korean and international celebrities have pushed the clip further into viral territory.

Participants so far include Young K and Wonpil of DAY6, Irene of Red Velvet, Wonhee and May of RESCENE, comedian Boom, Luo Yan of BOYS PLANET CIIU, Eunhyuk of Super Junior, Evan, Yunho of ATEEZ, comedian Yoo Byung-jae, Yoo Jae-pil, Sung Han-bin of ZEROBASEONE, Ruki of JO1, TV personality Jonathan, singer Cho Hyun-ah, Chinese actor Jin Cheol-won, Xiaoting of Kep1er, Kiya of KiiiKiii, TEN, and U.S. weather anchor Nick Kosir.

The song first drew attention through its stage performances, and the choreography has become a hook of its own. It plays on the imagery of a wild animal and a racing heartbeat, translating both into movement. Participants have been putting their own spin on the routine or filming it side-by-side with ALPHA DRIVE ONE members, adding to the range of clips in circulation.

Since dropping its second EP, ALPHA DRIVE ONE has picked up two music show wins. The group plans to continue promotions through upcoming broadcasts and content projects.
