THE BOYZ Begins New Chapter Under 78 RECORDS for Group Activities

New music label 78 RECORDS will take charge of THE BOYZ's group activities as the group prepares for its next chapter.

The label announced Sept. 14 that it will oversee group and unit activities for members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo and Eric. Their individual careers will remain separate and continue under their respective agencies and plans.

78 RECORDS was established by entertainment industry professionals with experience in artist development, music and content, including executives who have worked with THE BOYZ since their early years.

According to the label, its co-CEOs were involved with the group from the casting and debut stages through major career milestones, including its win on Mnet's "Road to Kingdom" and runner-up finish on "Kingdom: Legendary War."

78 RECORDS said it plans to work closely with the members on new music, performances and content while supporting the direction they want to pursue as a group.

The label will also move forward with its official launch and plans to discover new artists. Sangyeon, meanwhile, is currently approaching the end of his military service.
