EVAN Scores First-Ever Music Show Win as Solo Artist

EVAN has earned his first music show trophy with "Death of Me," continuing the strong start to his latest release.

The solo artist took first place on SBS Life's "The Show" on Sept. 15 with the title track from his first EP, "DEATH OF ME." The song received full points across the show's scoring categories, including digital and album performance, fan engagement and voting.

"I made this album thinking of EVER, so I'm grateful for all the love it has received," EVAN said. "I'll repay you with even better music."

"Death of Me," co-written and co-composed by EVAN, is a pop R&B track about moving forward with confidence at a new starting point. The song has topped iTunes' Top Songs chart in nine countries and regions, while the album surpassed 500,000 copies sold within three days.

The EP also reached No. 1 on iTunes' Top Albums chart in 11 countries and regions and entered Billboard's World Albums chart.

EVAN will continue promotions on MBC M's "Show Champion" on Sept. 16, with several awards shows and festival appearances scheduled in the coming weeks.
