KATSEYE's 'Animal' Hits 100 Million Views, Breaks Group Record

KATSEYE's "Animal" music video has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming the group's fastest official video to reach the milestone.

The video crossed the mark at around 2 a.m. KST on Sept. 16, just 54 days after its July 24 release. It reached 100 million views 44 days faster than the group's previous record holder, the "Gabriela" performance video, which took 98 days.

Directed by Cody Critcheloe, who also worked on KATSEYE's "Touch" and "Gnarly" videos, "Animal" pairs suspense-inspired visuals with choreography and styling that reflect the song's tension between instinct and reason. Actress Demi Moore also makes a cameo appearance.

"Animal" is now KATSEYE's seventh video to surpass 100 million views.

The milestone comes as the group continues its run on the Billboard charts. "Animal" rose three spots to No. 27 on the latest Hot 100, marking its seventh consecutive week on the chart, while "Hootie Frutti" ranked No. 67.

KATSEYE's latest EP, "WILD," also remained in the Billboard 200's top 20 for a fourth consecutive week at No. 16.
