BLAKPINK's ROSÉ Releases New Single With iPhone-Shot Music Video

BLACKPINK's ROSÉ has released her new single "new trick" alongside a music video created as part of Apple's "Shot on iPhone" campaign.

Released Sept. 18, "new trick" takes on a garage punk sound, pairing rough-edged production with a more upbeat energy. The song centers on finding new ways to move forward despite setbacks in love and life.

Amy Allen, who previously worked with ROSÉ on her hit "APT.," and Andrew Wells, a collaborator on "stay a little longer," co-produced the track.

The music video was directed by Dave Meyers, whose credits include work with artists such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande. Filmed for the "Shot on iPhone" campaign, the video places ROSÉ in open outdoor settings and fast-moving scenes that match the song's energetic tone.

The collaboration follows previous "Shot on iPhone" projects involving artists including Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo and The Weeknd.
