ENHYPEN's second VR concert, "ENHYPEN VR CONCERT : DESTINY," opens in Seoul on Sept. 18 before expanding to 42 cities worldwide.
The project begins its run at Lotte Cinema World Tower and Hongik University locations, marking the widest city rollout yet for a VR concert.
"DESTINY" combines nine performances with a storyline built around ENHYPEN's recurring vampire narrative. The story follows the members after they break a taboo within vampire society and attempt to escape the threats pursuing them.
Unlike a traditional concert film, "DESTINY" also introduces an interactive element that allows viewers to choose a member during the experience. Their selection changes parts of the storyline, placing the viewer alongside the chosen member as the escape unfolds.
The VR project follows ENHYPEN's first concert of its kind and expands the format with a larger international release and branching narrative.
ENHYPEN will also hold three special greeting events at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul on Sept. 20 to mark the opening. All three sessions sold out after reservations opened.
